We are delighted to announce that Curtis Jones has joined Cassady Law LLP as a litigation associate. His practice focuses primarily on personal injury litigation.
Prior to joining our firm, Curtis completed his articles at the Vancouver office of a full-service global law firm. During his articles, Curtis gained experience in a number of areas of law, with a focus on litigation.
Curtis received his Juris Doctor from the University of British Columbia, where he was awarded the McCarthy Tétrault Prize in Property Law. Prior to studying law, he earned his Diploma in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering from the British Columbia Institute of Technology in 2006, graduating top of his class. He then went on to complete a Bachelor of Business Administration from Simon Fraser University, receiving the Dean’s Convocation Medal for top academic performance in his faculty.
Since 2004 and throughout his education, Curtis has also been an active volunteer with North Shore Rescue, responding to search and rescue emergencies all over the south coast, as well as sitting on the organization’s board of directors. He is a licensed Emergency Medical Responder and a member of the organization’s elite helicopter rescue unit. In 2014, he received the North Shore Rescue Exemplary Service Award.
Curtis brings a diverse set of experiences and a demonstrated drive for success to his practice.
